Philosophy raises important questions about ourselves and our place in the world. This course will give you the opportunity to discover and discuss new and challenging ideas. Many will relate to day-to-day life, whilst others will stretch your imagination. Philosophy develops the techniques of analysis, critical thinking, clear expression and coherent argument, each of which are essential to other academic subjects and to everyday life.
