2. Course description Photography is the art of observation. It is about finding something interesting in an ordinary place,showing others the world through your eyes, it is not about the things you see but the way you see them. You will explore the different genres of photography including fashion, documentary, photojournalism, landscape, portrait, still life and advertising.

Entry requirements You will be expected to have a minimum of five grades A*- C at GCSE, including two B grades and a minimum of a C grade in English Language, and no less than a grade D in Mathematics. You are normally expected to have at least a grade C in GCSE Art & Design, however you will be asked to bring samples of your work to an Art Welcome Event or to enrolment so that the best advice can be offered. If you have not had the opportunity to study Art at school you can be assessed for entry by completing a portfolio task. 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5.
