Course programme



The AAT Accounting Diploma Level 3 course will offer further training in a number of accounting activities. These include the preparation of final accounts for sole traders and partnerships, treatment of VAT, use of spreadsheet software and aspects of costing.

Course Content

AAT Accounting Diploma Level 3 Units studied include:



  • Accounts Preparation

  • Preparation of Final Accounts for Sole Trader and Partnerships

  • Spreadsheet Software

  • Costs and Revenues

  • Indirect Tax (VAT)

  • Professional Ethics in Accounting


Assessment is achieved by a combination of computer based case studies and external computer based exams.



Entry Requirements

Course Progression

On successful completion, students could progress to the Diploma in Accounting Level 4 to gain further accountancy skills that can lead to full membership of the AAT, and to higher professional accounting qualifications.
