Course Content
Modules on Level 2 are:
Unit 1 - Recording Income and Receipts.
Unit 2 - Making and Recording Payments.
Unit 3 - Preparing Ledger Balances & an Initial Trial Balance.
Unit 4 - Supplying imformation for management control.
Unit 21 - Working with Computers.
Unit 22 - Contribute to the maintenance of a healthy, safe & productive working environment.
Unit 23 - Achieving personal effectiveness.
How will I be assessed?
Most of the Units listed above are assessed by Devolved Assessments that are completed in class time and are time constrained.
There is also an exam at the end of the year - i.e. June.
Successful completion of the Foundation Level will be awarded with an NVQ Level 2 in Accounting.
What can I do next?
After completion of Level 2, students can progress onto Level 3 AAT Intermediate Certificate.
Additional costs
There are fees payable to the college.
These are tuition fees and exam fees.
Additional Fee = 50.00
There is also a fee payable to AAT. This is registration fee and has to be paid for every year that students are a member. Current rates are approximately 100.
