To teach the relevant skills and necessary knowledge and skills required for the storage, inspection, mounting, dressing and truing of various types of abrasive wheels and cutting discs, and other various air powered tools.
About this course
An appropriate machine and type or types of air tools/abrasive wheels and dressing tools should be available to our staff instructor for the purpose of this training where applicable.
Trainees should also have the relevant protective equipment (eg eye protection - breathing mask - gloves as appropriate).

Course Summary
Learn how to safely setup and operate abrasive wheels, cutting discs and various air powered tools.
On completion of the course you will understand how to store, handle, test, mount and balance the wheels, ensuring safety and efficiency in your job.
As a record of your acheivement, a TAL certificate of training is provided.
Course Duration
4 x hours or 8 x hours, depending on type of abrasive wheel – maximum 6 x delegates per course

Course Location
On-site at Customers premises or other nominated venue. TAL Centre can provide facilities for hand held grinders only.
Staff Instructors
All TAL staff instructors are accredited by the appropriate accrediting body, and are also fully experienced, appointed persons in respect of course contents
