How will I be assessed? Assessments occur throughout the year depending on the subjects studied. See information on our Level 3 Sports Coaching and Development course or our Level 2 Skills for Sport course for more details. Are there any additional costs or specialist equipment required? Learners need to purchase a kit. The cost of this will be finalised at the start of the course but is expected to be in the region of £130 and will include yearly gym membership and the end-of-year celebration event. This money should be received before November. There may be additional costs incurred for selected trips or visits. For applicants from outside the region or who travel over distance, the College has residential accommodation if required. What can I do after this course? On successful completion of the course, learners may wish to progress to higher level studies or the Foundation Degree in Sports Coaching. Alternatively learners may seek employment within the sport and leisure sector.
