Each paper is only taught by a subject specialist who holds or is working towards a PhD in that area, or a fully qualified CCAB accountant. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from up to 70 hours’ tuition per paper, with timetabled blocks set aside for tuition, revision, question practice and exam technique.

A personal tutor will be available to guide and advise you throughout the programme, with the focus consistently aimed at helping you to acquire the essential techniques needed to pass each exam.

ACCA is one of the world’s pre-eminent accountancy bodies, with members and students in more than 170 countries. If you’ve already successfully completed (or been granted exemptions from) papers F1-F9, this course will allow you to acquire your ACCA Strategic Professional Level in just 12 months (full-time) or 24 months (part-time).

Teaching, Learning And Assessment

To achieve the ACCA Strategic Professional Level, you’ll need to complete two modules: ‘Essentials’ and ‘Options’. Each module builds on the technical knowledge you already possess. The ‘Essentials’ module involves completing two exam papers; the ‘Options’ module needs two papers to be completed from a choice of four.

For each paper you’re studying, you’ll take part in a weekly three-hour tutorial followed, an hour later, by a question-focused seminar/tutorial session lasting a further two hours. Full-time students study two papers per semester (10 hours per week), while part-time students study one paper per semester (five hours per week).

You’ll have the chance to benefit from an exam practice session for each paper, with tutors providing prompt feedback on your performance. The final two weeks of the programme for each paper (10 hours) are dedicated towards exam revision and planning.
