Course Aims:
This hands-on introduction to construction is ideal for those who would like to follow a career in construction but are unsure which path to follow. Upon successful completion, students are guaranteed entry to any of our Level 2 courses in construction or engineering. The course will help you explore your own abilities and strengths and allow you to decide future course and career progression.

· Bricklaying · Joinery · Plumbing · Painting & Decorating, · Slating/Plastering/Tiling · Construction Drawing, · Electrical Installation · Building Materials · Construction, Technology · Communications, IT & Numeracy · Measurement, & Costing

Progression Opportunities:
Successful completion of this course will guarantee entry to any of, our Level 2 courses in Engineering or Construction.

Career Potential:
Career possibilities depend on the path chosen at Level 2, however, options include electrical installation, plumbing, building maintenance, and bricklaying & hard landscaping. Students not wishing to progress, onto our Level 2 awards will be well placed to move into the sector, as general building operatives.
