The accessorized is who, in the technical field or in the clothing sector, provides for the manufacture and installation of the accessories or, more generally, attends to the finishing operations of the accessories, such as jewels or bags. The accessory is a decorative and often functional object that complements the clothing. Accessories include jewelry, gloves, bags, hats, belts, scarves, watches, sunglasses, brooches, socks, ties, leg warmers, leggings and suspenders. While almost all accessories have a function of their own (warming, covering, maintaining, etc.), the overall purpose of accessories is to add color and style to clothing, and create a certain look. Since the 2000s, some objects that are not normally considered part of clothing such as mobile phones or MP3 players have also been included in the category of fashion accessories. In some Hollywood fashion trends, the concept of accessory has also been extended to some types of small dogs. Most of the accessories are produced by the same clothing manufacturers, with the exception of jewelry, watches, eyewear and, in part, bags. However, especially in recent years, the number of brands that focus their production on accessories, or even on single types of accessories, has increased. Some accessories are also used to indicate one's belonging to a specific cultural or religious current. In this sense, crucifixes, stars of David or turbans are also indicated as accessories. The accessories that particularly highlight the brand of the manufacturer, on the other hand, are often received as a status symbol.
