About this course

Standard entry to this course requires one reference. It is desirable that you can

demonstrate 90% attendance. A GCSE in English at grade 4 (C) and maths at grade 3 (D) or above is

required.



Consideration will be given to all applicants over the age of 19 who do not hold formal English and maths qualifications.

Course programme

Year 1

During your year of study you will undertake the following units (which will be classroom based and will give you all the initial knowledge and understanding of accountancy to enable you to either move onto the next level or to find employment in an accounts/administration position): receipt and payment transactions; communications; law; business administration; computerised accounts; and data.

Additional information

Individual unit examinations plus one overall exam at the end of the year.
