This four-year MAccFin Accounting and Finance degree combines three years of undergraduate study (BA) with a year of postgraduate (MA), so you’ll graduate with a masters degree in Accounting and Finance
We’ve designed the MAccFin Accounting and Finance to ensure that, if you select the relevant module pathway, you’ll be eligible to apply for all 9 of the maximum exemptions offered by ACCA and apply for a range of exemptions offered by CIMA, IFA, CPA Australia and AIA – which means you can achieve membership of your professional body quicker and accelerate your career progression
It has been designed through in-depth consultation with both employers and professional accountancy bodies to enhance your employability
It is also ideal for those seeking part-time, funded higher education through their employer on a Higher Apprenticeship
The course provides you with opportunities to apply for relevant accounting and finance internships with regional employers. For many of you this can mean four summer internships which equates to one year’s work experience. This enables you to apply what you are learning in practice and builds up invaluable experience on your CV.

About this course

The MAccFin Accounting and Finance integrated masters programme offers you complete flexibility and consolidated funding to support your studies at undergraduate and postgraduate level. This will provide you with a competitive edge for when you enter the graduate job market, enabling you to compete with conviction and a much broader academic and technical skill set.

We work closely with the professional bodies and regional employers to ensure our students can maximise any opportunity to benefit from: networking sessions delivered by professional bodies; events run by regional employers; short – medium internships both paid and voluntary.
