Why choose this course? Business-related degrees remain a popular subject area for study and are designed to provide students with relevant knowledge to support and enhance individual development with a view to securing future employment.    The MAccFin integrated Masters programme is designed to meet the needs of business students who intend to develop their area of expertise by building on the skills acquired at undergraduate level through an additional year of study at master's level.   The modules which form the master's level have been designed in consultation with industry and commerce representatives to ensure a clear distinction between undergraduate and master's level and to ensure that they will both challenge and support students with a blend of academic and theoretical content, based on a progressive theory into practice approach.    The aim of the course is to encourage personal development, and prepare for entry into employment with a professional and business-like manner.  The additional Master's modules will develop advanced professional business skills and acumen; produce practicioners with advanced competencies required in a range of business situations; enable students to undertake critical appraisals and form judgments related to research findings and encourage students to critically examine a selected organisation in terms of future employment and personal matching of their skills and profile.
