What will I learn?
This is the money side of business. You will gain a very firm understanding of the wider business environment, how financial control is vital to business success and how, without it, even profitable firms can fail. You will learn how to recommend the actions that a business should take to improve its performance or to get out of financial trouble.
What qualifications do I need?
We would normally require candidates to have the standard sixth form entry requirements including GCSE English (grade C or above) and Mathematics (grade B or above).
Career opportunities:
This course provides a solid foundation for the further study of Accounting and other related subjects such as Accounting and Finance, Business Management, Business and Finance. Graduates of Accounting and Finance degrees go on to work in the areas of professional accountancy, investment banking, investment analysis and management, management consultancy and financial management.
