Drexel LeBow’s MS in Accounting is a market-driven degree designed to prepare students to become leaders in the field. The MS in Accounting deepens students’ understanding of accounting concepts, sharpens business acumen and provides the analytical and communication skills needed to become a successful accounting professional.

This degree prepares graduate students for the CPA exam and beyond by combining a thorough examination of accounting concepts with opportunities for real-world application through experiential learning opportunities, consulting courses and access to top accounting firms through LeBow’s networks.

About this course

Offered through our Accounting Department, the MS degree provides the depth of understanding needed to become a true leader in accounting, working within an evolving market.

This degree combines theory with practice, encouraging MS in Accounting students to become well-connected to the dynamic accounting industry and share their expertise with their community through programs such as VITA.

This highly selective Master of Science in Accounting program is designed for students who hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in the area of Accounting from an AACSB (or equivalent) accredited institution.

Students can earn this degree in 12 months studying full time
Students may also earn this degree studying part time at their own pace
Graduates are well prepared to sit for the CPA exam

In addition to a Master of Science degree in accounting, Drexel LeBow also offers an MBA program with a specialization in accounting if you are looking for a more generalized business education with a focus in accounting but not planning to become a CPA.

This program also offers an optional research track for those interested in pursuing a PhD in Accounting.
