About this course
The course aims to enable understudies to: Critically evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of various accounting theories.
Analyse the development and intellectual underpinning of rival theories that seek to explain accounting behaviour.
Analyse the structure of the key accounting theories.
Analyse the options and strategy of accounting regulators.
Examine the nature and content of key accounting standards in relation to their theoretical content.
The course provides preparation for a career in accounting by developing both theoretical and practical skills at a professional, or as preparation for research or further study in accounting. Graduates of a Masters programme in accounting may obtain employment in a variety of careers in accounting or management related areas.

Cambridge English Test – Advanced: 169 (with no element lower than 162)
