Arguably one of the most popular therapies around today, Hot Stone Massage is not only extremely relaxing, and very effective due to the heat introduced to tense muscles, but also much less strain on the hands of the therapist - win win really!
This is an accredited, level 3 practitioner course and to attend you must have a recognised massage qualification such as Swedish Massage, Holistic Massage, Aromatherapy, Sports etc. If you’re unsure just give the center a call to clarify.
Hot Stone Massage is a deeply relaxing treatment that effectively releases stress and tension in the body. The heat of the basalt stones encourages the muscles to relax more quickly than traditional massage and is particularly beneficial for muscular aches and pains, insomnia, back pain, stress, tension and depression. In addition, the effectiveness of this wonderful therapy reduces the strain on your hands.
The objective of this course is to provide a competent, safe and deeply relaxing hot stone therapy massage.
Suitable for: qualified massage therapists who would like to add Hot Stone Massage Therapy to their list of skills.
