Act Saturday Classes
What Happens in an Act Class?
‘Everyone can act, it's the first thing we do as children - we play, imitate and make-believe.'
- Act classes will free your imagination and creativity. Through a high energy, fun inclusive environment students build confidence and self esteem.
- Act classes teach you everyone matters. Tall, short, shy or bold - there is no one else just like you - and it's what makes you fascinating the minute you step on a stage.
- Act workshops are lead by professional actors using techniques to teach Acting and Performance. These include theatre games, improvisation, role-play, voice & speech, movement, stagecraft and performance technique.
- Act workshops welcome everyone, with or without previous drama experience. We are sensitive to each individual students needs and encourage and support all abilities.
Act Skills & Performances
Terms are divided into Performance and Skilled based terms to keep a creative balance between theatre games & improvisation and rehearsals & performance.
