ACT Training Services (ACT) is a not-for-profit company established in 2006 to provide training to people who are unemployed and who are seeking to acquire skills in order to find work. The core personnel have over 10 years experience managing regeneration programmes as well as providing and supporting training to New Deal clients and working with them to find work and facilitate their transition into sustainable employment.The organisation conducts a wide range of training programmes to assist its clients to build a foundation for optimum performance in the work environment. ACT secures grants and other forms of funding for some of its training courses and offers the training free to its target groups.
