LENA LESSING!

ACTING FOR FILM:

Close-ups, reaction shots and emotional outbursts: how do we create intimacy in front of the camera? How can we avoid the pressure to do and imitate, instead of letting go and giving in? We examine the acting tools we need when we want to act in a film, and those that a film-maker wants to see. We prepare and film scenes, and review the results. We get to know ourselves behind and in front of the camera, with scenes and monologues used by actors Lena has prepared for recent castings, so it is close to the reality of what directors want to see and cast.
