Course review:
Activities planning has taken on many changes to suit the growing demand for a range of pursuits and physical demands. This course will take delegates through the theories behind legislations, communication skills and how to involve people with different abilities and support needs
Objectives
At the end of the lesson delegate will be able to understand:
- Legislation and organisational requirements for activities in residential settings
- How to split activities into the constituent benefits
- Strength Based Programming and Gardeners Theory of Multiple Intelligences
- Assessment and Communicating the results
