ProgrammeThis course will cover the four skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing, with a focus on improving your fluency and ability to communicate in English. We also work on your grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. The course is structured with a textbook and teachers may use other activities and materials, such as role-plays, games, DVDs, newspapers and music. Lessons are designed to suit your needs and interests, and we aim to help you to become a confident user of English. You will be given advice on self-study and are encouraged to use English outside the classroom, particularly on our exciting social programme, which includes cultural, social and sporting activities. These excursions are carefully chosen to let you study English and make the most of your leisure time. Please see our sample Social Programme for more details of excursions. Homestay accommodation lets you live with a local family, and is the highlight of many students’ stay in Glasgow. Our families are chosen for their friendliness and hospitality, and will help you speak English outside class. All accommodation is inspected by us and is clean, comfortable and welcoming.
