About this course
You do not need to have any prior qualifications to join the programme. However, all candidates will be required to undertake initial assessments in Literacy, Numeracy and IT.

Advanced ECDL
The ECDL Advanced qualification is:
• Internationally-recognised

Each Advanced module has been designed as a stand-alone certification in each respective area and Candidates who successfully complete a module will be certified as Advanced users in that application.
Advanced Word - Word Processing An Advanced Level qualification in IT on Word, recognised throughout Europe. The training programme includes tutor-led classes and self-study sessions with tutor support. The training leads to an Advanced ECDL in Word Processing; this qualification is nationally accredited by the British Computer Society. The course comprises up to 40 hours of guided learning. The delivery of training is as flexible as possible; in order to help meet employers’ and their employee learners’ work schedules. Delegates are provided with continuous guidance and support during training.You will be able to demonstrate some of the more advanced features of using Microsoft Word, eg:
