Configuring and managing hardware on a computer running Windows XP
Managing disks and configuring and managing file systems
Troubleshooting the boot process and other system issues and monitoring resources and performance
Configuring and supporting (TCP/IP) and configuring the desktop environment
Configuring Windows XP to operate on Microsoft networks
Supporting remote users and configuring Windows XP for mobile computing
You will study module 272, which consists of:
Configuring and troubleshooting applications
Resolving issues related to usability
Resolving issues related to application customisation
Configuring and troubleshooting connectivity for applications
Configuring application security
What can I do after this course?
On successful completion of this course you could progress onto more advanced certified Microsoft courses such as MCSA and MCSE. It is also good preparation for the Foundation Degree which is run in association with the Technology Innovation Centre (Birmingham City University).
