Course Objectives

The level 3 Advanced Diploma in ICT Systems Support is for learners who have some knowledge and experience in providing support to users and covers more complex work. To achieve the qualification, learners must be successful in the assessment of 1 core unit and 4 optional units. The course is awarded by City & Guilds.

Certificates of unit credit (CUC) will be issued to candidates for each successfully completed unit. Candidates who do complete sufficient units for a full qualification will receive, in addition, a full diploma.

The qualification covers:

* maintaining equipment and systems
* customer care
* installing, configuring and maintaining hardware and software
* systems testing
* working to industry-standard repair procedures

Units from leading industry names like Microsoft, CompTIA and DHTI+ can also be used to make up the qualification.
