Course programme
Following on from the Essential Guide, this seminar looks at four key areas of Customs procedures with workshop exercises. The aim is for all attendees to develop a better practical understanding of issues that generally cause companies problems during audits. Delegates will immediately see a benefit in attending this presentation on returning to their working environment as the aim is to not only enhance their understanding of the issues but give them confidence when talking to freight companies or HMRC. Each session includes a practical exercise and delegates are encouraged to bring along their
own paperwork.
Attending this seminar will help you:
1 Maintain an acceptable high standard of compliance with import and export legislation and face customs audits with confidence
2 Write internal procedures relating to import/export activities and introduce internal auditing procedures
3 Understand and prepare for the new Customs procedures with the aim of increasing control and improve cash flow
4 Be certain you are up-to-date and know quickly where to go for further information on key topic areas
5 Ensure that good compliance will keep your company away from the penalties of the law and help you understand that time means money
6 Ensure that Customs declarations are accurate and compliant with UK/EC law
7 Know the changes now so saving valuable working time spent on trying to find out why something is different
