Our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Management (AMEM) programme is designed to prepare you for an effective career as a technologists or a manager who can meet the engineering, business and societal challenges of rapidly changing global manufacturing markets and industries.
Our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Management (AMEM) programme is accredited by The Institution of Mechanical Engineers and The Institution of Engineering and Technology. Our MSc in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Management is primarily designed to prepare you for an industrial career but it is equally relevant as preparation to continue your studies onto a relevant research area.
Modules are directly informed by both our close industry links and our research expertise in areas including rapid manufacturing, laser processing and automation.
The Wolfson School is engaged in a large portfolio of high quality research in many areas of core Mechanical Engineering aspects. In recognition of the research carried out, the School has received a Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education. As a student within the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, you will have access to a range of state-of-the-art equipment. Our computer labs are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and include some of the latest industry standard software including STAR-CCM and CAD.
