The new part-time, distance learning MSc Advanced Pharmacy Practice (Primary Care) programme is designed for experienced pharmacists looking to develop new competencies at an advanced level.
It will enhance your ability to deliver safe and effective patient-centred care in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams.

This programme provides education and training for experienced pharmacists, who may be changing sector, to develop advanced level knowledge and skills whilst working in a GP practice. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team is key to the development of relationships and experience in any clinical setting and the University of Bradford School of Pharmacy & Medical Sciences is well positioned to ensure that multidisciplinary learning and working is at the forefront of the course design due to its close involvement with programmes for other allied health professionals including physician associates, nurses and paramedics.
You will normally complete a 30 credit module each semester - 60 credits per year. The core 30 credit module in year 1 semester 1 is Foundations in Primary Care Practice. All other modules over the next 3 semesters can be picked according to your interests or development needs. The final year (3) comprises 2 further modules and needs to include the Quality and Service Improvement Module (if not previously undertaken), along with the Quality and Service Improvement Project
