Advanced Research Methods

The module builds on the work completed in Introduction to Research Methods and Data Analysis (HRM001). The module aims to further develop your understanding of research methods in a health context, introducing more complex forms of study design and higher level methods of appraisal and review of literature. Several research methods will be examined in-depth with consideration on both quantitative and qualitative methods. You will further develop your research proposal, which was an assessment in module HRM001. You will be guided and supported to develop the skills required by professional researchers to disseminate research plans and findings in a range of contexts.
