This course has been designed to update delegates on legislation and regulations applicable to lifting operations, lifting appliances and accessories. The course also covers planning, risk assessment and includes practical rigging scenarios to test the theory. Suitable for: Delegates who are involved in any type of rigging or lifting operations, especially those who qualified prior to LOLER coming into force.

Advanced Rigging and Lifting Level 3 Technical Support (theory): 3 Day
This 3-day theory based, continual assessment course is aimed at Deck Foremen, Lifting Supervisors involved in de-commissioning, subsea and complex lifting opertaions.
Delegates are required to answer questions and solve mathematical equations relating to the area of volume of simple shapes, calculate the weight of an object, in air and water using density tables, calculate an object's surface area, centre of gravity, calculate basic trigonometry and draw force triangles.
This course is offered as either a stand-alone course, with delegates receiving a certificate of training upon successful completion, or attended by personnel who require to progress in the NSL / EAL competence programme and achieve a Level 3 competence certificate.
