Aeronautical Engineering Extended Diploma level 3

Year 1

A range of subjects will be studied and assessed during year one of this programme. These include: the science of flight, aircraft electrical and electronic systems, aircraft radar and radio, aircraft instrumentation, human factors in aircraft engineering, engineering design along with core subjects such as engineering mathematics, electrical and mechanical principles.

In year two you will undertake a major project which may involve practical work on the College aeroplane, aircraft instrumentation, avionics, aircraft electrical machines, aircraft mechanical science and further engineering mathematics.
