After Darwin: Reimagining the Sacred

Darwin’s discovery turned the world upside down. We are beginning to answer the question of how to create religious meaning in a world created according to the principles of evolution. With teacher Daniel Reisel we will travel to the heart of the Darwinian vision, understand the challenge it poses and try to articulate modern, non- fundamentalist answers.

Daniel read theology at Cambridge before training to become a doctor. He has a PhD in Neuroscience from Oxford and has been teaching on Darwin and religion for over a decade.Daniel Reisel is in the top ten of popular presenters at Limmud and we are delighted to have him join LJCC team this term.
