Pierre Vella is an independent digital creative working in film, video and digital technologies. He is a founding member of MITA (Moving Image Training Alliance) and runs a series of training programmes in film and video post-production, web technologies and motion graphics in London as well as training MA students in video editing at the University of Cambridge.

Course Overview
The introduction to After Effects course is designed for those new to post production techniques to get the most from this immensely powerful application.
The emphasis throughout this introduction will be on practical exercises, which will cover incorporating video with Photoshop and Illustrator graphics, video layering techniques, working with transitions and keyframes, creating and animating text along Bezier motion paths, using filters for special effects and rendering the final output for video playback.
After Effects Introduction leads on to our new course,After Effects Intermediate.
