Learn the fundamental skills that are essential for modern agriculture operations in this Agricultural Science Certificate. With courses ranging from record keeping and innovative technology, to practical field skills, your knowledge of crop production will prepare you for a career in the agriculture industry.

You'll be prepared to begin your career in a farming operation or to work in the retail agriculture sector. You may also continue your education and transfer into the second year of the Crop Technology Diploma program at Lakeland College where you will expand your knowledge of agronomy, production, precision farming and financial management, along with hands-on experience gained through a practicum or Lakeland's student-managed farm.

Apply as a full-time student before April 30, you may be eligible for a $500 – $5,000 Entrance Scholarship. Apply before June 30 if you are in Grade 11 and have a 70% average, you are eligible for a $1,000 Early Entrance Award.
