This is an ideal course for those wishing to continue their personal development while seeking employment in the agricultural industry. Practical skills at the workplace supported by part-time attendance at College.

Qualifications you will work towards:

Certificate in Agriculture Level 3

Agriculture NVQ Level 3

Application of Number Key Skill Level 2

Communication Key Skill Level 2

Information Technology Key Skill Level 1 Plus two skill certificates from a specified list (additional to those achieved at level 2)

What qualifications will I get?

Level 3 Diploma in Work Based Agriculture

How will I be assessed?

You`ll need to attend College one day per week and will be required to build separate portfolios of work, complete assignments and to pass a range of external examinations at each stage.

What are the entry requirements?

Minimum qualifications: Not known

Level 2 Diploma. (Those who are 18 years old with relevant experience and/ or qualifications will also be considered).  You'll also need to have suitable employment before the programme can commence.

What can I do after this course?

Successful completion can lead to employment within the agricultural industry. Students could also progress to the HNC in Agriculture.
