Agriculture City & Guilds (NPTC) Extended Diploma Level 3

Ideal if: you're looking for a practical alternative to A-levels and you want to develop your technical knowledge and gain a better understanding of the management of different agricultural enterprises.

You'll need: some knowledge of the agricultural industry together with five GCSEs at grade C or above, including English, mathematics and science, or an equivalent qualification.

You'll learn: the theory, science and permitted practical skills associated with farm mechanisation and livestock as well as areas of farm diversification. These will be enhanced and further developed in the second year by study of those practical skills and aspects of farm management.

Expect: to gain a wide variety of experience from practical work on the College farm and in association with our industry partners.
