Your skills and knowledge in the main areas of agriculture are developed through modules such as Plant Protection, during which you will learn to identify weeds, pests and diseases and how to minimise their impact on crops, and Livestock Husbandry, which covers a range of techniques such as handling, vaccination, and stock selection.
How Will I LearnThe skills and knowledge you gain throughout the course will allow you to be able to monitor crop and livestock enterprises on a farm as an ongoing project. This will culminate in a report in which you will present your findings based on observations and data collected during farm visits.
