Course programme

3. Entry requirements 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (with at least 2 coming from maths, English or science). Progression is encouraged from full level 2 qualifications such as the level 2 diploma where students are attaining at least a merit grade profile and successfully completing their full course footprints supported by an appropriate tutor reference. Mature students with a suitable industrial background and/or educational attainment may be accepted without these qualifications. For some students an agreement will be reached to comply with an academic contract from the start of the course. 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5. Assessment method This course is continually assessed by a combination of written tests, project and assignment work and demonstration of competence in a range of practical skills.
