      Is this the right course for me?
      This course has been specifically developed for those seeking a career as Air Cabin Crew. Thomson Airways is supportive of the course and will provide a trophy to the student of the year.

      What will I need to join the course?
      Acceptance will be dependent upon candidates successfully completing an interview.

      To be able to qualify for the course you must also be:
      · of a good educational standard · motivated to learn · minimum age 17, age 18 on completion or mature student · well presented · able to work under pressure · a team player · a good communicator · enthusiastic

      What will I achieve?
      You will be studying a combination of units designed to give you a broad understanding of Cabin Crew Operations.

      Qualifications will include:
      · City and Guilds Diploma in Air Cabin Crew Level 2 · NVQ Level 2 Foods and Drink Service · Deaf Awareness · Basic Sea Survival · First Aid · Foundation Certificate in Wines · Key skills in Communication

      Time will be spent on the course looking at job search methods, filling in application forms, preparing CVs and interview techniques. There will also be visits from airline employees and an educational visit to a European destination by air.

      How long will the course last?
      The course will run from September to June.

      How will my progress on the course be assessed?
      The course is assessed by a range of methods including role play, presentations, course work and external assessment.

      Successful completion of the course will place you in a strong position to gain employment as cabin crew or in other travel industry jobs. Many of our past students are now working as cabin crew for a variety of airlines.
