This course will provide participants with an understanding of weight and balance principles. Become familiar with the terminology used in load planning and appreciate the consequences of an overweight or out-of-balance aircraft. Learn how aircraft weight is calculated, how to communicate fuel figures, and the considerations of aircraft structural limitations.

This is designed to provide an awareness and appreciation of weight and balance, ideal for those responsible for aircraft loading or turnaround management. Staff responsible for the creation and calculation of load plans and load sheets will require further training.

Our course content is aligned to the requirements of the IATA AHM Chapter 11 – Ground Operations Training Program.
