About this course
On this course, you’ll gain the knowledge and confidence you need to study Airline and Airport Management.
You’ll learn useful business, communication, digital and research skills, and familiarise yourself with Sheffield Hallam. Upon completing your foundation study, you’ll be ready to hit the ground running on a full honours degree.
After you complete the foundation year and full degree, you’ll be prepared for a career in

Work placements
You have the opportunity to undertake a year-long work placement in your third year of study. This gives you real-world experience to prepare you for your future career.

The basic security clearance (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) requires the verification of the following four elements: identity, employment history (past five years), nationality and immigration status, criminal record (unspent convictions only).

You will frequently engage with airline and airport industry stakeholders throughout your study via industry guest talks and field trips. Field visits may require security checks.
