AIX System Administration II: Problem Determination

Aims and Objectives
Understand the structure and content of the Object Data Manager database files. Maximise the availability of the RS/6000 system by performing system recovery from a variety of failures. Perform problem determination and analysis by running diagnostics analysing the error log and carrying out system dumps. Analyse the system to identify potential performance bottlenecks.

Target Audiences
This course is designed for system administrators with at least three months experience in AIX and with other relevant education.

Prerequisites
Delegates should be familiar with various system administration tasks.
