This course looks at our attitudes towards alcohol and drugs and their place within our society. It particularly looks at prescribed and ‘over the counter' medicines and the effect they can have on performance whilst at work.
It provides factual information about alcohol and promotes an understanding of how much alcohol you consume and for how long it will impair you. It also looks at:

Health
We look at health implications of alcohol and drug use - and misuse.
This is explored through practical exercises, group discussion and the use of videos.
It helps with developing strategies for safer drinking.

Driver Impairment
The section examines impairment in a wide sense, and includes fatigue. It explores the attitudes of road users and introduces personal strategies for safer driving.

For large number of employees we are able to provide sequential training or multiple courses simultaneously. We are flexible and can offer half day or day courses to suit the needs of your organisation.
