a successful hair and beauty salon for 15 years.
She is a qualified teacher and taught for many years at a hair dressing academy.
Her love of dogs made her take the step into dog grooming where she has found her hairdressing skills and teaching skills very useful.
Professional Dog Grooming Course for the Beginner
These dog grooming courses are suitable for any student from beginner to more experienced. Whether it is simply for fun or to make a career from it, the courses are tailored to suit the individuals needs.
All of our courses take place in our dog grooming salon in Long Eaton Nottingham and can be taken on a full or part time basis so students in full time employment can fit the course around holidays and weekends.
This course will give students the chance to cover some of the basics of grooming. It will involve mostly practical hands on involvement .
The course will cover
The correct handling of dogs
Brushing, de-matting and bathing
Correct drying techniques (we do not use drying cages)
Ear cleaning, nail clipping
Scissor and style techniques
Clipping
