History

Alpine tiling training is the longest established privately owned, wall and floor tiling training provider in the UK. We teach wall and floor tiling only. We are not like other training centres that now tend to tinker into other trade skills. Our unrivalled reputation is built upon delivering absolute quality tiling courses with easy to understand tuition taught by NVQ qualified trainers in very small, virtual one to one groups. Our record breaking success rate means that 94% of the people who attend our tiling training courses, then go on to achieve an NVQ qualification with us and become self employed tilers. With a national shortfall of some 16000 + tilers required within the UK, just to keep up with the domestic market demands. Even in these recessional “hard times” there’s certainly no shortage of work available

Advantages of studying here

We at Alpine pride ourselves on our success rate of turning people from all walks of life into the realism of achieving a total career change and with the added satisfaction of working for yourself, becoming the maker of your own destiny. Our whole philosophy about learning a new skill is in the quality of the course provided. We realise just how important a decision it will be for you to choose the right course and course provider. We thoroughly encourage potential students to visit our purpose built centre with no prior appointment necessary, just to see how we operate and to obviously see at first hand our facilities.

Areas of specialisation

We cater for all potential students needs, from a one week beginner course, ideal for someone wishing to undertake tiling for themselves on a DIY basis, right the way through to our six week highly professional course, for the candidate who has made the dedicated decision to become a self employed tiler, and reap the rewards of his or her success with us. All our courses include a discussion on business setup and self employment. We don’t charge extra for such areas of tiling as mosaic work, using natural materials and also areas of the ever increasing popular Victorian tiling techniques as do so many of our competitors.
