Course programme
Course Description
This course will provide an overview of Alzheimer's Disease from both a clinical management and a drug development perspective.
Healthcare's teaching team – all specialist physicians in this therapy area – will offer a broad introduction to Alzheimer's and allow delegates to develop a general understanding of the disease and its neurobiology.
Clinical presentation and disease staging will be discussed and followed by a review of pharmacological and other treatment options. Delegates will benefit from hearing a valuable, 'real life' perspective from a patient and carer – learning about the impact and issues of living with Alzheimer's Disease. The course will conclude with a discussion on clinical trial design issues and a review of ongoing research.
