Minimum course entry requirements are over 18 yrs of age, hold a valid first aid qualification and successfully undertaken a CPR Assessment in the previous 6 months

Course programme

A 180 Hour ambulance technician course consisting of 120 hours self learning from pre-learning materials. This is followed by one week (5 x 12 Hour Days) at a training venue in South Wales.

The course requires a lot of hard work from candidates and will prepare them for work in the private or voluntary ambulance sector.

The course trainers are State Registered Ambulance Paramedics with many years experience in the NHS, Military, Private and Voluntary Sectors.
