This 12 month course provides recent graduates with training via a combination of taught advanced level modules and by means of individual research projects chosen to give a range of hands on experience in advanced analytical techniques (including AAS, NMR, GC and HPLC) and scientific skills applicable for analytical chemistry research. Wherever possible, projects are designed to tackle real environmental and industrial problems. The majority of projects are carried out in collaboration with an industrial partner.

About this course
The course aims to enable understudies to: Students will be able to demonstrate a systematic understanding of how key concepts within inorganic, organic and physical chemistry relate to analytical chemistry
Students will be able to identify, evaluate and organise a list of 5 research papers relevant to a sub topic in analytical chemistry.
