This course is designed for all those who would like to learn more about the structure and metabolism of dogs and cats and will be of particular interests to those who are or would like to be, professionally involved with their care and management. Employees in pet shops, in boarding kennels and catteries and assistants and receptionists in veterinary surgeries will be better able to provide the customer service expected by customers and clients if they have successfully completed this course. The course is written and tutored by an experienced veterinary surgeon/teacher and provides much of the essential knowledge evidence required by NVQs in animal care at Level 2

Students taking this course in conjunction with Grooming (Theory) or the Veterinary Practice Receptionists Certificate are entitled to a 10% discount on the course fee.
