Course programme

Knowledge of how the body is structured (anatomy) and how the different parts work (physiolgy) is a prerequisite to the understanding of health and the features and mechanisms associated with disease.

Module 1 covers the next level of organistion with the body - cellular level. It explains the structure of the cell and the specialised units within its (organelles) and their functions. In addition, you will learn about cell replication and more about cellular transport and the maintenance of homeostasis.
