The course covers the spiritual, moral, ethical, social and cultural issues of the Welsh language. As well as you reading, studying and discussing a wide range of Welsh literature which encompasses many centuries. These opportunities arise through the study of, for example, Film, Drama, Poetry and Short Stories.
You will require 5 GCSEs at Grades A*- C including a Grade B or above in Welsh higher tier or substantial oral fluency. This is AS Welsh Second Language. Students who have GCSE Welsh (First Language) cannot take this course.
You will be invited to attend an interview, and will undertake an assessment in literacy and numeracy, to establish any support required.
